Very impressive indeed was Future Hotel Skins by WT, at HORECA 2012. Among the people who visited the stand of Future Hotel, was also the minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Pavlos Geroulanos. Mr Geroulanos had the opportunity to see closely the way in which technology can totally “change” a hotel’s exterior surface but also its interior space. The new architectural project Future Hotel Skins by WT hosted at HORECA exhibition four different concepts for the radical change of every hotel (but also of every bar and restaurant):

Media Hotel: here a hotel lobby was set up in order to present a media wall, designed to connect through the internet, the lobbys of chain hotels in real time.

Fashion Hotel featuring three-dimensional holographic projections activated by motion detectors!

Free Energy Hotel where hi-tech materials could capture kinetic energy and transform it into electricity for hotel use (a futuristic stationary bike, for example, gave this opportunity)

Play Hotel: interactive materials and technologies in tables, bars, even walls allowed children and adults to play in a fantasy world.
